Charles walks out into the forest. As he walked, he saw a rabbit with his head eaten off, and the blood still oozing out of its neck. Suddnely, he gets the idea he's being watched by someone, or something. As Charles quickens his pace to get away, he can hear footsteps and twigs snapping behind him. Charles tries to elude this "thing" while looking for Moreau's house. After a while, he finally spots a light coming from the house and runs toward it.
