Charles meets a man with the ugliest looking face he has ever seen. The man has been rejected by the captain of the ship. Montgomery goes and talks to the captain, who is drunk. After a long argument on who is the boss there, Charles tells the captain to "Shut up". This obviously gets the captain angry, but a fight is avoided.
